A-FIX CRM and Field use cookies and browser storage to support sign-in, preferences and work in progress. Some information stays on the device until it can be sent to the CRM.
Sign-in and request protection
A session cookie keeps your browser signed in. A request-protection cookie (CSRF) helps protect forms and other actions from requests forged by another site. Blocking these cookies can prevent sign-in or saving changes.
Preferences and work in progress
Browser storage remembers preferences such as the theme and table layout. Some office actions also keep drafts and request details on the device so an interrupted submission can be reviewed or retried safely.
Field and offline work
Field uses device storage for drafts, photos, files and a queue of pending changes. Preparing a day for offline use also saves the required pages and job information on that device. These local copies can contain customer and work-order information.
Signing in again lets the same user continue pending work. Signing out remotely blocks future online access; it does not erase information already saved on a disconnected device.
Maps and payments
When an enabled map or payment feature is opened, it may connect your browser to Google Maps or Stripe. Those services may use their own cookies or similar technology. This information page does not load them.
Before clearing site data
Clearing cookies can sign you out. Clearing site data can permanently remove unsynced drafts, photos and pending changes from this device.
In Field, check Pending changes and confirm your work has reached the CRM before clearing data. If anything still needs attention, keep the device data and ask the office for help.
